Exam project
In June, I passed the first exam of my program with a project focused on creating a visual identity and advertising campaign for a music venue called SILO1, featuring the tagline “On the Verge of History.”
SILO1 embraces a retro aesthetic, offering intimate musical experiences and showcasing breakthrough artists. The campaign included a full-page newspaper ad, a brochure/music catalog, an Instagram reel, and a mobile-friendly website.
Drawing inspiration from the word Verge, which originates from the ancient French term for area, I centred the design around the concept of a square or frame, and the idea of breaking beyond its boundaries. The logo itself was inspired by sound waves, symbolising the venue’s dynamic and vibrant energy.
Made with InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, XD, and Photoshop.

The website mockup for mobile phones was made using Adobe XD.

Mjølner
Informatics
Annual Report
I spent a week creating the graphics for Mjølner Informatics’ annual report. I did my best to create a professional, yet dynamic, look, while respecting the design manual.

Style History
This project, called LIFE’S WORK, is all about blending personal memories and identity with different styles from history. It’s about using old-school art and design vibes to tell stories about who we are and where we come from.
By mixing the past with the present, it shows how memories can come alive through different styles, creating something unique that connects history with personal experience.

Me, myself, and I
This is my interpretation of the 1940’s Swiss Style. The text was originally about my own life, which I have chosen to remove for privacy’s sake.

Sweet tunes
In the 2000’s Visual MashUp became popular. Merging different pictures into one coherent composition. Mine represents one of my passions: sweet, sweet music.

Not so distant future
To infuse a back alley photo with the style of Cyberpunk I edited the colours to include more purple and orange light. I also edited the signs to include neon lights.

Do compute
AI has helped me show how the future could possibly look. Increased urbanisation leading to closer living quarters will hopefully also lead to nature having a more central place.

Fear
Going back to the 1920’s Bauhaus style to show my worst fear: deep water.

One more chapter
A childhood memory in Art Nouveau. I loved reading. I devoured books like they were going to disappear.

GL HF
Having fun in 1960’s PopArt, I have created a new picture for my Steam account. Online I’m known as Goose, occasional vanquisher of noobs in CS2.

Fragmentation
I do not enjoy photos of myself, so when tasked with a self portrait, the style landed on Cubism.

Love it
Jumping to the 1970’s we have arrived at Punk. The assignment was a commentary on current politics.
Breaking it Down
For the finale of our last Design course, we were tasked with a full rebranding of a company. I chose STARK and created a new, simplified logo. The ad campaign draws inspiration from the Blaxploitation style, featuring a strong female protagonist and bold typography to capture that powerful, edgy vibe.
The logo itself was inspired by the negative space left behind when cutting wood with a bandsaw, reflecting both craftsmanship and precision.
Made with InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

Animated logo
To improve my skills in After Effects following our introductory course, I challenged myself to animate a logo. I chose Become, a local marketing agency, as my subject. It was an engaging process, especially fine-tuning the motion physics and syncing everything with sound effects.
Their logo:

Visual Identity and Campaign
The brief was simple: create a canned beverage, complete with visual identity and an online campaign.
I developed LUMA, a mango lassi positioned as the refreshing and healthy alternative for the Instagram generation on the go. Rooted in the traditional Indian drink, LUMA combines rich, natural flavour with modern branding to appeal to health-conscious, trend-savvy consumers. From the can design to the social media rollout, every element was crafted to reflect freshness, authenticity, and visual appeal.
Made with InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, and Photoshop.

Childhood memory
Continuing to learn Illustrator I was challenged to create a poster showing a childhood memory.
When I was about 9 years old my dad taught me how to fix a puncture on my bike. I can still remember the feeling of pride and confidence, being able to fix a real life problem by myself. I also felt the importance of such a moment of hand over knowledge from one generation to the next, passing on the torch of self sufficiency.
Thanks dad.

Go sports!
A full page article/ad for a basket match.
I don’t know much about sports, but it was very fun to try to appeal to a different audience.
The challenge was balancing the large amount of text.

The project that started it all
My first real project, making a conference poster for the Cryptography and Security Research Group at the Department of Computer Science at Aarhus University.
The picture was my actual office key (notches changed for safety reasons). It was my attempt to visualise blockchain. The picture has since been used for the 2023 and 2024 conference.
Before this I had ideas, but after this I knew I wanted to be a graphic designer. It took me a few years to summon the courage to quit my job and start school, but here I am.
Made with InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
I spent many hours on my iPad turning a photo of myself into a drawing. The colours were sampled from the original image.
I aimed to strike a balance between realism and the textured feel of a pencil sketch.
Made with Procreate.

Travel Magazine
For this project, I contributed several pages to a magazine feature on island hopping in Greece.
My design aimed to blend earthy, muted tones with the vivid beauty of Greece’s skies and natural landscapes, creating a balance between rustic charm and striking scenery.
Made with InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

Retouching in Photoshop – only stamp tool
Removed from photo: Taxi, sign, bin, banner, text, graffiti, cone, reflection.
Everything had to be removed with stamp tool.
Made in Photoshop.
The Level of Distance
As a warm-up for the exam project we had to design a visual identity, logo, flyer, and YouTube ad for a new luxury car called Level.
The car is able to drive 1000 km on a single charge. It is advertised to younger couples living in the city, but who might want to escape the bustle, if only for a little while.
The logo is created by merging all the letters of the word Level into a single form and flipping it upside down. It symbolizes an upward-pointing arrow, guiding the viewer toward the idea of “leveling up,” while also evoking the strength of a mountain rising through the clouds.
Made with InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, and AI voice (Elevenlabs).

Travel agency
Day 4 of Motion Graphics/After Effects. We had to make a fictitious travel agency, preferably going somewhere we wouldn’t. I’m not much for long bus rides and Afterski, so here we are. Please (don’t) book your next vacation here.
Made in After Effects.

And now with intensity
To learn Adobe Illustrator I tried my hand at making an avatar of an old photo of myself. I did my best to keep it as simple as possible while still maintaining the important details.
Made with Illustrator and Photoshop.

In an effort to learn a new discipline, I dove into digital illustration using Procreate. As I had previously worked in Illustrator with a mouse, drawing directly on the iPad with a stylus was a completely new experience. It felt more intuitive, creative, and playful.
I gave myself a very valuable superpower: The ability to always keep my drinks the right temperature. Rest assured, I plan to use these powers for the greater good of humanity.
